The 2011 WorkCover NSW SafeWork Awards winners were announced on Thursday 27 October at a black tie ceremony and dinner at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Awards winners were selected from a highly competitive field of 123 entries and 47 finalists.
The 2011 winners were:
Category 1 - Best workplace health and safety system

Category 2 - Best solution to an identified workplace health and safety issue
State Transit Authority
Category 3 - Best workplace health and safety practices in a small business
Production Automotive
Category 4 - Best individual contribution to workplace health and safety
Peer Lehwess - Presbyterian Aged Care
Peter Rogers - Jeff Hort Engineering
Category 5 - WorkCover NSW Leadership Safety Award
