The 2012 SafeWork Award winners were announced on Thursday 25 October at a black tie ceremony and dinner in The Grand Ballroom, The Westin, Sydney.
This year WorkCover received 71 entries from large and small companies, organisations in the private and public sectors, and from across industry. The Award winners were selected from a high calibre of 40 finalists.
The 2012 winners and highly commended are:

Category 2 - Best solution to an identified workplace health and safety issue
Winner: Agi-Kleen
Highly Commended: Ambulance Service of NSW and Mission Australia
Category 3 - Best workplace health and safety practices in a small business
Winner: NA Group
Highly Commended: Powerdata Technologies and Pure Hair Pure Body
Category 4 - Best individual contribution to workplace health and safety
